A photo of a young girl from the Konso tribe of Omo Valley, Ethiopia.
This photo was taken during my first visit to Ethiopia in 2013 using my D90 with a 70-200mm Nikkor lens. After years of hiding it inside my external HD, I decided to process some of my old photos from my Ethiopia's folder and submit it for a photo exhibition in Kuala Lumpur.
I like her stoic expression in this photo. She looked confident and firm. I learned a lot of photography technical skills this few years and looking back at this photo makes me wonder what drove me to take her picture during that time. And ... that harsh highlight on top of her head is very irritating and I still do not know how to remove the harsh light in Photoshop. Hmmm
To avoid such problem, I need to keep on reminding myself to always check the highlight and shadow of each photo during photo shoot.
